There were four bombings on Thursday, July 7th, 2005 in London. Three happened on the subway, one on a double-decker bus. It has been made so that the only way for a voice to be heard is to commit atrocities, to kill innocents in the name of a cause, in the name of getting publicity so that people will do something about it… which usually involves more death, more killing in the name of trying to fix things. Death will not absolve death, and the only way that we can stop this vicious cycle is to do something about it. If we can prove that an act of peace can speak as loudly- louder- then an act of hate then we can make the world a better place. There is something that we can do. We can make one thousand paper cranes, more if possible, and send them to London. We can have them blessed by anyone and everyone, all people, all religions, in the name of peace. Anyone who wants peace can help. All you need to do is fold a crane or two, then send them to the address to be provided later so we can collect them all, bless them then send them off to London. Thank you all for your time and effort, we appreciate it. Thanks, Kristen Toohill and Christopher Reeves, Co-Founders of A Voice Through Cranes
